Tour the Old Pine Farm Natural Lands Trust.

Entrance to the Old Pine Farm Land Trust is at the end of Rankin Street off of Good Intent Road in Blackwood Terrace in Deptford. For more information, please call Joan Tracy at (856) 232-1109 or e mail at jtracy@gccnj.edu.

The land trust is open everyday from dawn to dusk. If you cannot attend, please visit at your convenience.

Sunday, December 10th: Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC at Christmas. The museum, besides its beautiful creche, and many exhibits (www.metmuseum.org) is having and exhibit of Tiffany's Glass, 250 pieces from his Long Island home called Laurelton. Also "Americans in Paris" featuring some 100 paintings by Whistler, Sargent, Cassatt, Hassam, Chase, and others. This exhibition demonstrates the importance of Paris as an intellectual and cultural center for the late 19th century American artists. Board Bus: 8:45; leave 9:00, leave Met 4:30 (lunch on your own in Cafe), Leave Chinatown/Little Italy 7:00, arrive home 8:30. Cost: $39. (Includes transportation and admission to Museum) Audio: $5 (1,000 entries throughout the Museum). If you wish an audio, please include in your check. Closing Date: November 10th.

Sunday, January 21st: The Barnes Foundation. With a collection of 185 Renoirs ... and more. They have been given approval for the move to Center City; timing unknown. Board Bus: 11:45; Leaves: 12:00; Return: 6:00. Cost: $27. Includes transportation and admission. Closing date: December 15th. Audio available for the Barnes for $7. Film on Renoir January 16th.

Saturday, March 10th: King Tut, Franklin Institute. Treasures from the tomb of the legendary Egyptian Pharaoh will be showcased, featuring more than 50 major artifacts excavated from his tomb. The exhibit will show case some 70 additional artifacts of other royal graves of the 18th dynasty, a period that produced some of Egypt's most famous rulers and most exquisite works of art. Many of these artifacts have never before traveled outside Egypt and are between 3,300 and 3,500 years old. The exhibit also features National Geographic images and film footage about the "Golden Age" of the pharaohs as well as information on cutting edge research into the life and death of Tutankhamen, the  "boy-king", whose legacy has facinated the world for centuries. Board bus: 12:15; Leave: 12:30; Return 5:30. Cost: $44.50 (includes timed ticket to TUT, and admission to Franklin Institute). Closing date: January 10th. Film on King Tut November 14th. 

Wednesday, March 28th: Side by Side Concert -- Rowan University. This concert features the best of the best youth band players -- 100+ and it is inspiring to see so many talented young people giving the community such good.  Guest conductor, Colonel Arnald Gabriel and Dale Underwood, classical saxophonist. Saw this concert in March and it was thrilling. Cost: $8 bus. Purchase tickets on arrival at Rowan: $8-adults; $5 seniors/students. Board Bus: 6:50, leaves 7:05, Return 10:00 or so. Closing date: March 2nd.

Sunday, April 1: Washington D.C. A day with the blossoms (we hope), The Mall, or Union Station. Advise you preferred destination. Dinner on your own in Alexandria. Board Bus: 8:15, leave 8:30. Return 9:30. Cost: $35 (Deluxe Motor Coach). Come! Closing Date: March 1st.

Sunday, May 20th: Princeton, NJ. A visit to the University's Art Museum (www.princetonartmuseum.org), a jewel, including "Treasures from Olana", the paintings of Frederick Church. Time on your own to explore Princeton's Campus which has many sculptures, a beautiful chapel, or the town's shops and restaurants. Or take a Self-Guided Tour of Historic Princeton: places if interest within easy walking distance of the town center. Free. Map Available at Bainbridge House on Nassau St. Board bUS: 9:45; leaves 10:00; return 6:00. Cost $25. Closing Date: April 20th.

Sunday, June 10th: Atlantic City Art Center, lunch on your own on the boardwalk, then to Leamings Run Gardens (tour by the owner's son). ACAC has a small art collection, with the building beautifully situated on the ocean. Leamings Run Gardens is a private garden with the largest collection of annuals in the United States. It is gorgeous! Board Bus: 9:15; leave 9:30; Return: 5:00. Cost: $30. Includes admission to gardens and transportation. Closing Date: May 4th.
